I have lived along the 285 Corridor for 30 years; in Bailey for the past 20 years. I have been married to Laurie for 27 years and have three children; Levi, Alyssa, and Toby – who have gone entirely through the Platte Canyon schools. As an ordained pastor I have been in leadership roles at Platte Canyon Community Church for the past 19 years. I also enjoy the outdoors in a myriad of ways, teaching, friends, woodworking and serving others wherever possible.

I have spent most of my career as a Director at Lost and Found Inc., a multidimensional Christian agency ministering primarily to troubled teens and their families. In this role I have gained an intimate knowledge of the Human Services and Court systems and have been a strong advocate for families. I tend to be very flexible, creative and work outside the typical counselor paradigm, using a variety of experiential approaches. For example, most of my services are provided as “home based” rather than meeting in a traditional office setting. I approach all matters from a holistic perspective that takes into consideration not only intertwined Body/Mind/Spirit dynamics, but also extended family, social and cultural systems that come into play. I provide a variety of services on a sliding scale fee that hopefully makes them available to everyone.
